The “Crime of the Century” is what the filthy tabloids called it. Moriarty smirked at an oblivious policeman that stood nearby leaning against the wall with the papers held up parallel to his face as he was ushered out of a cell in preparation for the trial. He’d been held in custody for just under six weeks and it was about time.
An hour later he was walking down a corridor surrounded by policemen after he’d been thoroughly scanned to make sure he wasn’t concealing anything in his light grey suit. He was held by the shoulder and the sullen look on his face was powerful enough to radiate through the entire build

A month later. A man in jeans, a beige jacket covering a white t-shirt and white trainers stood outside the Tower of London. He was wearing a dark blue cap with the word “London” embroidered into the top to complete the ordinary civilian tourist outfit. Of course this man was Moriarty. He was about to instigate the first event of this scheme he had been waiting for so long to begin.
Moriarty was over-prepared more than anything and he had back-up plans on standby for his back-up plans, nevertheless he knew he wouldn’t need them. No one was expecting anything as immense as this from him anytime soon, not even Sherlock and hi

It was a late Friday evening and the block of multi-storey offices had been almost entirely emptied . Almost entirely apart from one man who decided to stay in and do over-time to catch up on things. Also to avoid his life at home; he still lived with his parents. He was a squat, scrawny man in his mid-30’s. The woman would have found him cute, like an owner would a pet, were it not for the information he seemingly had gotten hold of. She had prepared beforehand, masquerading her true self before she arrived. He sat typing away on his office laptop, blocking out his surroundings, which was why he was pleasantly startled when a woman wit

The woman sat back in her rather uncomfortable wooden chair while sorting through some old paperwork. She looked like her usual self again; no camouflage, just a pair of old sweatpants and dark t-shirt. However, it was times like this that she felt most vulnerable, but no one knew this side of her so it was acceptable. She resembled her mother this way.
The woman stood, then paced toward the kitchen and squinted toward a large horizontal mirror that stretched a meter long. She had a peculiar shade of khaki eyes and an even darker tone seemed to outline her pupil. Her hair was many different shades of brown, some strands lighter, almost golde

Embracing Darkness Chapter 6 - The Card
Moriarty had returned home in his suave black Aston Martin just after dropping off ‘Anne’ and as he was stepping out of the car, a small card fell onto the pavement. He instantaneously picked it up and held it in-between his index and middle finger, reading the words hand-written onto the back in black pen. He cursed and hurled it at the ground, stepping back into the vehicle and commanding his chauffeur to return into the driver’s seat and drive to Anne’s house.
The car’s wheels made a harsh sound before they spun off at high speed, making the card flutter upward for a second or two then landing again on the fl
She could see Moriarty was getting restless due to her on-going speech and as soon as the barman walked away she took the opportunity, “I didn’t catch your name, mister!” She waved her hands all about the place as she gestured towards Moriarty.
“Richard. Richard Brook.” He forced a false smile as he looked over at her. The woman was wearing a white short-sleeved dress that reached to just below her knees and had a zip running down the middle front. She had white high heels on to match and a burnt sienna nail polish that coordinated with her hair.
“And what do you do Dick Brook?” She fell into hyster
The woman walked over to her mirror and began the transition. Today’s job didn’t call for heavy makeup, she was relieved to find out. She was going to get information out of the one and only Moriarty. Over three months after their last improper encounter and she was finally going to make his acquaintance. She smirked at herself and immediately started applying a light layer of makeup. Her green eyes were brought to life by some brown eye shadow and mascara, her cheeks lit up after she had contoured them with blush, changing the shape of her face slightly. She then proceeded to apply some freckles and fix her temporarily dyed red h

Moriarty had been arranging people’s disappearances and deaths for nine weeks and all the while he felt odd. He felt like he had missed something important. He didn’t feel as satisfied as he had felt before three months ago. He beat himself up about this, not coming to any conclusions. However, during one quiet spring evening, it clicked. The woman in disguise. That was the only event that took place those nine weeks ago that could have made him change. But why? And more importantly how?
He wanted to go to her apartment, tie her up and question her. What kind of spell did the enchantress put him under? She was an enigmatic entity

“You’d better be there in ten minutes, he’ll leave after that!” A voice squealed nervously into the earpiece.
“Calm down, I’m two minutes away. I’ll get the job done. Everything is in place, just calm down Miss Guilder.” The woman spoke quietly, reassuring the girl. “I’m going to have to hang up now, alright? I’m approaching the target.” The woman hung up before her client Miss Guilder had a chance to reply. She sighed as she got into character and strode towards her target’s door, adjusting her tight bun.
The door was unlocked, just as Miss Guilder had promised a

The girl rounded the block and stumbled intentionally into a dark alley as soon as she was sure that the black Aston Martin had gone. She proceeded to take off the bundles of scarves and wig which revealed long brown hair that fell to her lower back. She still looked old as she had skillfully applied makeup that aged her naturally young face so she pulled her hood over her head which cast a shadow over her facade. She glanced around a few times before stuffing the disguise into the large bag she had hidden under her old lady clothes to make her look slightly wider. With the things safely inside her rucksack, she ran to her appartment, satisf

You were a bad person. It was just a fact of life.
You didn’t care. In fact, you enjoyed it. Being evil was so delightfully delicious and terribly fun. It also meant you got meet the most interesting people, including your current boyfriend, Jim Moriarty.
You thought about that for a moment, relishing in the memory of the first time you’d met, before wrapping your arms around his neck from behind, “Jim~”
He was at his desk, working on something you knew was important, and didn’t stop to respond, “Why do I get the feeling I’m not going to like what you’re about to say?”
You spun him, fo
(I would like to mention that I do have many other interests that have nothing to do with Sherlock and/or Moriarty, but I have created this account to relate to this minor obsession as an individual. I am a part of many, many fandoms and this is just one I am involved with.)
